Staffordshire and Cheshire played host for Nathan and Lisa's wedding a few months back and I was delighted to be there covering all the celebrations. It was a beautiful, crisp, winters day with blue skies and even some snow. The day started in Stoke on Trent for all the preparations and obligatory oat cakes for the guys, whilst leaning well forward I might add to avoid the suits!

We then moved on to the beautiful All Saints Church in Odd Rode in Cheshire for the ceremony. Once complete there was a rather nice helicopter waiting on the field opposite to take the new Mr & Mrs to the reception at The Mere Resort in Knutsford. However, as there was a bit of time and guests needed to drive between venues the helicopter took the bride and groom on a quick detour to....the lake district! Its crazy to think in the time it took myself and the guests to drive to the reception that Nathan and Lisa had been to lake Windermere and back.

The Mere is a fantastic reception venue in a stunning part of Cheshire and was the perfect backdrop for the rest of the wedding day, from the helicopter landing on the golf course through to the beautiful grounds and evening reception. It was a fantastic day that I was truly grateful to be part of, anyway thats enough of me waffling on, you can see a selection of images from the day below....
