More of a personal entry this week as I had the pleasure of attending my first wedding this month as a guest. In the beautiful village of Atlow, Derbyshire my good friends Chris and Holly tied the knot in the beautiful parish church followed by a marquee reception next to Chris's family farm. There were lawn games, amazing food and wait for it.....a FREE bar. Although constantly tempted I managed to keep my camera in my bag until the speeches/reception where I just had to take a few.
So a huge congratulations to Chris and Holly, you put on a fantastic day and I was honoured to be involved. Ben
"We are so grateful for all the hard work, thought and time you put into capturing our Wedding Day!!"
Epic weather, an awesome couple and a beautiful venue meant this was only going to go one way. Excited morning prep followed by a service at Thurgarton Church and then onto Kelham Country Hotel for a fantastic day. Did I forget to mention the Horse drawn carriage, Bentley and Cigars aswell!, check for your selves....
Just wanted to let everyone know that aswell as my wedding photography coverage I am now able to offer a complete photo booth setup manned by my trusty assistant!. This is proving a great way to get guests involved and has gone down a storm at the last few events. Click below to see some more examples along with more details...
Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Nat and Matt for their engagement shoot in Wollaton Park, Nottingham. Despite the scary forecast we had some unexpected sunshine and the deer even came to have a look what we were up to!
They really are a great couple and I can't wait to document their wedding day this coming July.
With the technological world moving at a much faster pace than I am, Field Lane has finally got round to setting up its own Twitter and Google plus account. Please feel free to reach out and connect using the links below. From here you will not only find business information but we plan to keep everyone up to date with what we have been doing photographically. I look forward to connecting with you soon. Ben
Making the most of the recent great weather, myself and the Hemming family met at the beautiful river gardens in Belper over the weekend for a family photo shoot. Sunshine, ice cream and fun was had by all.
"the photos are just perfect, we are all thrilled to bits with them, they are exactly as I had hoped to achieve. There is even a decent one of me, much commended by everyone and, of course, the pictures of the dogs are the most cooed over!"
